A prominent provider of offshore energy solutions, recognised for its cutting‑edge floating production systems and specialised services for the oil and gas sector, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Slickline Superintendent. This key position will be responsible for leading slickline well services operations and will also provide support to stimulation (pumping) activities. The role is based in Equatorial Guinea.

Key Responsibilities:
  • All maintenance of slickline equipment (unit, PCE, temporary pipework, etc.)
  • All maintenance of downhole tools.
  • Management of the slickline team - currently a 2 person team (through a slickline vendor) with the superintendent going offshore as the company man, playing an active role in the team.
  • Planning operations, including writing programs when required.
  • Going offshore and executing operations as part of the wireline team.
  • Support Well Integrity work (maintenance & execution) when required.
  • Support stimulation operations when required.
  • Be involved in ordering new tools and equipment.
  • Must have a strong background in slickline, coming up through the tools and then spending time as a company man and having experience planning jobs. 

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
  • Technical qualification in Oil & Gas Operations, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (trade or vocational qualification acceptable).
  • Minimum of 10–15 years’ experience in slickline operations within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven offshore experience operating in a Senior Slickline Supervisor or Slickline Superintendent capacity.
  • IWCF Well Control certification (or equivalent) – mandatory and valid.
  • BOSIET / FOET (or OPITO‑approved equivalent).
  • Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively in Spanish.
