Key Responsibilities:
- All maintenance of slickline equipment (unit, PCE, temporary pipework, etc.)
- All maintenance of downhole tools.
- Management of the slickline team - currently a 2 person team (through a slickline vendor) with the superintendent going offshore as the company man, playing an active role in the team.
- Planning operations, including writing programs when required.
- Going offshore and executing operations as part of the wireline team.
- Support Well Integrity work (maintenance & execution) when required.
- Support stimulation operations when required.
- Be involved in ordering new tools and equipment.
- Must have a strong background in slickline, coming up through the tools and then spending time as a company man and having experience planning jobs.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Technical qualification in Oil & Gas Operations, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (trade or vocational qualification acceptable).
- Minimum of 10–15 years’ experience in slickline operations within the oil & gas industry.
- Proven offshore experience operating in a Senior Slickline Supervisor or Slickline Superintendent capacity.
- IWCF Well Control certification (or equivalent) – mandatory and valid.
- BOSIET / FOET (or OPITO‑approved equivalent).
- Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively in Spanish.
