Overview
Here is an exciting opportunity to join our client in Calgary, AB as a Package Engineer! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical bid evaluations for equipment and packages
- Review supplier drawings and data during detail design phase after PO award
- Act as a technical focal point for assigned equipment packages, coordinating with, and supporting other design disciplines and clients in review of supplier data during detail design
- Participate in P&ID reviews, HAZOP reviews and 3D model reviews for assigned equipment packages
Qualifications
- Bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering
- 7+ years of experience in selection and design of equipment and design systems in oil and gas, chemical processing, or related energy industries
- Registered P. Eng
- Prior experience with packaged equipment working in the EPC industry, working for equipment suppliers, with EPC contractors, or with end-user facility owners
- Water treatment experience would be an asset
