An excellent opportunity to work for one of the World’s most admired organization based in their India office in the Vadodara. They are dealing in EPC Oil & Gas and Refinery projects.

The right candidate will speak fluent English, have the right to work in the India and have a minimum of 24+ years’ experience in Logistics Management.

Brief Description
Head Logistics determine and develop the plan and manage To ensure the complete logistic process are done in accordance with the company procedures.

The major responsibilities are:
• Establishing logistic plan, project specific logistics procedures, and implementing the same.
• Analyze the local logistic market and to put in place good logistic solution, to meet project targets
• Dynamic result oriented individual, with problem solving mentality & willing to travel to vendor premises in short notice to resolve issues.
• Willing to work closely with Supply Chain and implement company rules and procedures in logistics process
• Ability to co-ordinate with internal and external stake holders, to ensure save movement and delivery of project materials in particular ODC (over-dimensional cargo), Super ODC, Multi-modal transport.
• Negotiation of Logistics contracts terms and conditions with Service providers, to protect the interest of company
• Preparation of Project Service Orders for transport - Due diligence of the service providers
• Preparation of Bidder list for various type of cargos
• Preparation of ITB documents to be float inquiry to all Service providers through IT tool.
• Effective expediting of service providers offers and follow up
• Interaction with internal engineering team for technical issues / compiling of the RFQ for the project cargos.
• Receipt of Service providers offers and preparation of Commercial Bid Tabulation
