Client is looking for a Senior/Lead Electrical Designer
Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, refinery,
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 10+ years of experience
- Proficiency skills in AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation CAD Software
- Sound knowledge of Smart Plant-Electrical, Lighting software like Dia lux Evo and Adobe professional
- Other software tools-MS Office
Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical single line and three-line diagrams, Control, Protection & Metering one-line diagrams,
- Shall be able to read and understand switchgear scheme drawings.
- Prepare substation layout such as cable routing, cable tray, lighting design calculation and layouts, Substation layouts, Earthing layouts, Lightning layouts
- Preparing Material Take offs of major electrical items and Bulk items, shall have thorough knowledge in making the assumptions in preparing the Bill of Materials (BOM) of electrical items.
- Prepare Cable schedule and estimate the cable quantities.
- Perform with cross functional discipline interface during design development phases
