Job Purpose
To lead and manage site operations for civil works related to switchyard and associated structures in renewable energy projects, ensuring timely execution, quality compliance, safety standards, and coordination with stakeholders for smooth project delivery.
Responsibilities
· Site Leadership & Execution: Lead the site team for day-to-day operations and ensure adherence to project schedules. Oversee execution of civil works for switchyards, foundations, control rooms, and STATCOM buildings. Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to achieve milestones.
· Vendor & Client Coordination: Follow up with vendors for timely supply of materials and services. Coordinate with clients/customers for billing approvals and payment processing.
· Material Management: Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials at site. Maintain inventory control and minimize wastage.
· Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce quality standards as per project specifications and statutory norms. Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure zero accidents at site.
· Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit to management. Maintain records of work completion, inspections, and compliance certificates.
Skills:
· Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques for electrical switchyards and renewable energy projects.
· Expertise in project planning, resource allocation, and execution monitoring.
· Familiarity with statutory requirements and documentation for renewable energy projects.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
